If I understand you correctly, I think you're saying that our society is still structurally built on the ten commandments (in general). Personally, I do think that this 'generally' is becoming more and more general as people are not taught the importance of these ways of living. I have worked with lying bosses several times and had to stand up to them privately and publicity. I lived in the UK for 40 years and I’ve lived in Asia, Europe and the US for 14 years. The UK and the US are the most non-secular countries that I’ve lived in. I’d say that belief in the Ten Commandments is the highest in these two countries. For the rest, well … There are countries even in mainland Europe where lying, racism and unfair practices are even actually promoted by (of all places) the Human Resource Department.
