Recommended Products for untying your mind!

On this page you will find products that we have found useful ourselves or we think you will find useful.

Some have the ‘knot’ icon against them and these books deal with particular issues that tie us up and interfere with our progress.

Amazing book that explains WHY we procrastinate, WHY the ‘beat yourself because you’re lazy’ method does not work - and what to do about it.

Classic cognitive-behavioural self-help text helping you uncover your ‘cognitive distortions’ in a systemic way. One to work through at home.

Eye-opening guide on how to understand and master your emotional states. It’ll take more than one read to get the most out of it but once you start mastering your ‘meta-mind’ you’ll have more understanding and flexibility for turning your emotional ‘dragons’ into ‘princes’ - or princess states!

Feeling overwhelmed? Thoughts of making big changes scares you? Then take one small almost trivial step towards change. It sounds pointless. But once you read the theory, and give it a go you’ll begin to see, hear, and feel the difference.

Let’s face it - when we want to make changes we often feel uncomfortable. This book deals with that issue - how to manage the discomfort that come along with altering our thinking, feeling and acting.

I think the title of this book speaks for itself. You know in yourself whether you need it or not!

This book is about the fears that we all have in our lives to some degree. Fear of failing. Fear of succeeding. Fear of decisions. Fear of loss or of helplessness.

The book’s basic premise is, that your aim should not be to get rid of your fears. You should feel your fear, but not let it stop you from doing things you really want to do.

Psychological knots - reccomended products for getting untied...

Utterly  essential reading for Christians, especially if you feel God’s place in your heart is ‘mysteriously’ displaced by other things. Not a Christian-lite book but easy to read, captivating and challenging. A true God-help book rather than a self-help one!

Advanced NLP book on patterns of thinking and behaviour. Complex but deeply fascinating. You can expand you thinking styles just by reading the descriptions of the various ‘styles’ of thinking and behaving.

Conceptual Restructuring (audio download)

Your understanding of the world is defined by what you ‘conceptualise’ about it. Your concepts are made up of groups of ideas about a particular thing or subject:

Examples

What do you do when you view of these aspects of life are distorted or toxic?

How do you know they are?

One way is that when you think about something that seems perfectly normal for a lot of people but you have a problem with the idea. You experience ‘negative’ emotions as a result of thinking about it. You want a ‘relationship’ but you feel disproportionate fear - that kind of thing.
